Description:
“The Night Seraphim” (depicted at left). An interpretation of the biblically accurate angels. This sister represents the night so I gave her dark wings like night and hair that resembles the color of the stars. She has a bright green flame that burns eternally above her head. An unsettling color of flame as green usually evokes villainy especially when paired with purple. As the representation of darkness and night, I preferred that she appeared more frightening and mysterious, yet divine and beautiful all the same.
"The Day Seraphim" (depicted at right). This sister represents the day; I gave her pale yellow hair that transitions to a sunset pink. I gave her light colored wings to represent the clouds of day. Her flame is rigid and straight, unlike her sister's. The flame represents order.
